Still water

Privacy Policy

Effective October 14, 2026

The short version: Still Water doesn't collect any personal data. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us or to anyone else. It all stays on your phone.

Who we are

Still Water (listed on the App Store and Google Play as Stillwater Focus) is made by Rohit Agrawal. In this policy, "we" means the developer of Still Water. This policy covers both the iPhone and Android versions.

What the app saves on your phone

To work, Still Water saves a few things on your device:

This information never leaves your phone. We don't run any servers, and Still Water doesn't send any of it over the internet.

Screen Time (iPhone)

On iPhone, Still Water uses Apple's Screen Time framework to block apps, and only after you give permission. Apple built this framework so that apps can't see which apps you use or which websites you visit. The "Your top apps today" section in the Stats tab is drawn by iOS inside a protected part of the app that can't send data anywhere.

Android permissions

On Android, Still Water asks for these permissions, and uses each one only on your phone:

Notifications and Live Activities

Session reminders, the countdown in your notifications, and the countdown on your iPhone's Lock Screen are all created on your phone. We don't use push notifications and don't collect device identifiers.

What we don't do

Crash reports from Apple and Google

If you've chosen to share diagnostics with app developers, Apple (on iPhone) or Google (on Android) may send us anonymous crash reports. They control this, and you can turn it off in your phone's privacy settings.

Children

Still Water doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Delete Still Water from your phone and everything it saved is removed with it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
